After 3 years of infamous all-nighters, Playground has something special in mind to mark our anniversary - a daylight party full of heartfelt music, togetherness and fun.
Playground was born out of our love for music and bringing people together. Our styles are diverse, but there is one intrinsic shared theme - a sense of happiness - from feeling the rhythm and being surrounded by the people you care about. We reach across genres to cherry pick the tunes that let us tell you a story - from electro to vocal house, from deep beats to progressive sounds - our expression is as diverse as our crowd. Your Playground regulars R4F4, Easy K and Suzanne Dolmancé, are joined by our dearest La Schmock from Bad Dad, to keep you dancing all day.

x I identify as cis-male, am I welcome here?
Yes, you are very welcome to play ping pong, hang out and be an ally. We kindly ask you to respect that the space behind the decks is exclusively for FLINTA*.
x What musical styles are allowed?
Whatever floats your boat - But please be mindful of the impact your music might have on other people. Hard & fast musical styles are potentially stressful, especially in the early evening hours.
x How long are the playtimes?
between 30mins and 1 hour.
x Is there a dance floor?
Not really. there's a ping pong table on the dancefloor - no one's gonna stop you from dancing around it.
x Can I bring my laptop and controller?
No. Please don't plug any external devices into our mixer. The open decks are for practising on club-standard equipment only (CDJs, Turntables, Mixer)
x What equipment is available?
2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus2, 2x Technics 1210 MKII, 1x Allen & Heath xone 92.
xI am an absolute beginner, can I still play?
Absolutely! We want to encourage you to familiarize yourself with the equipment, to try yourself out and to get in touch with other FLINTA* who share your passion for music.
