✘𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙆 is sailing for the first time in Crack Bellmer on April 3rd. This time the crewmates will be:

✱ ATXA - Local rhythmic wizard and vinyl junkie. Certified Dubstep juggler & Garage connoisseur. Versatility and technical prowess are their game. Lowkey French.

✱ FLICKERCHILD - Audio Squirrel Fairy. DeeJays like she’s building a forest made of sound. Bass, Breaks, IDM, hints of Hyperpop; Minds will be blown and put back together.

✱ LU_X2 - If Moby and Aphex Twin had a surrogate child. Playful, child-like wonder, meets chaos and raw energy. Has an album coming (He’ll play some of it - as a treat)

✱ TASFET - ✘𝙚𝙗𝙚𝙆’s captain and spark with limbs. Keen sense for digital euphoria. Expect static-inducing Post-EDM snacks. He used to stick forks in outlets as a child and it shows.

✱ KAY D - Newcomer on the scene and debuting on this date. Trance and Dreamy Synths are his bread and butter. Unexpected Irish accent (He’s never been to Ireland).

Every first wednesday of the month, we offer our space exclusively for our FLINTA** friends.

Discover Crack Bellmer from its sporty side or play your music in a relaxed club setting among your old and new flinta friends - every first Wednesday of the month from 7PM

Bring your records and/or USB sticks and mix your music in a relaxed club setting. You are the soundtrack to the ping pong match.

How does it work?

Spontaneous, without obligations or pre-registration -

A list of playtimes will be available at the bar from 7 pm.

+I identify as cis-male, am I welcome here?

Just not tonight. But we offer the same concept open to everyone on all other wednesdays of the month :)

+What musical styles are allowed?

Whatever floats your boat - But please be mindful of the impact your music might have on other people. Hard & fast musical styles are potentially stressful, especially in the early evening hours.

+How long are the playtimes?

between 30mins and 1 hour.

+Is there a dance floor?

Not really. there's a ping pong table on the dancefloor - no one's gonna stop you from dancing around it.

+Can I bring my laptop and controller?

No. Please don't plug any external devices into our mixer. The open decks are for practising on club-standard equipment only (CDJs, Turntables, Mixer)

+What equipment is available?

2x Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus2, 2x Technics 1210 MKII, 1x Allen & Heath xone 92.

+I am an absolute beginner, can I still play?

Absolutely! We want to encourage you to familiarize yourself with the equipment, to try yourself out and to get in touch with other FLINTA* who share your passion for music.

Next March 29th, the clocks will go forward one hour again, and we will get together to celebrate at @crackbellmer the 4 years of our collective with an Open Decks FLINTA B2B #Booty2Booty and a clubby night with our residents @materia_hache and @dumamede along with two guests @marso10c and @skydeeplife who will put the icing on the cake

Existing shouldn’t always be a resistance act; it should be a celebration of our lives. As a community, it’s crucial to remind ourselves, especially during these unprecedented setbacks on our rights and ways of being. In the past four years, Others to the Front has stood up to create inclusive dancefloors where people from diverse backgrounds have a safe space where they are able to express themselves authentically and proudly embrace their unique ages, shapes, and moves. Together, we are stronger, and by celebrating our differences, we have the power to build a world where inequality is a distant memory.

So, keep that in mind. We’re once again gathering at our new little utopian house @crackbellmer , to remind people of our joy. We gonna be louder than their noise!

Existir no debería ser siempre un acto de resistencia; debería ser una celebración de nuestras vidas. Como comunidad, es crucial recordárnoslo, especialmente durante estos retrocesos sin precedentes en nuestros derechos y formas de ser. En los últimos cuatro años, Others to the Front se ha posicionado para crear pistas de baile inclusivas en las que personas de diversos orígenes tengan un espacio seguro en el que puedan expresarse con autenticidad y abrazar con orgullo sus edades, formas y movimientos únicos. Juntes somos más fuertes y, celebrando nuestras diferencias, tenemos el poder de construir un mundo en el que la desigualdad sea un recuerdo lejano.

Así que no lo olviden. Volvemos a reunirnos en nuestra nueva House utópica @crackbellmer , para recordar a la gente nuestra alegría. ¡Vamos a ser más ruidosos que su ruido!
