Cooperations
Quartiermeister*in
Quartiermeister*in is a beer brand and a social business, consisting of a company and an association. Unlike other companies, the profit generated does not flow into private pockets or shareholders, but back into society: into projects that enrich our neighborhoods - precisely where Quartiermeister*in is being drunk. The social proceeds are directly linked to the beer sales. With a fixed rate of 10 cents per liter, over 180,000 euros have been distributed to more than 160 projects in our neighborhoods to date.

Solidrinks, which provides us with mate and cola, is a social enterprise, a non-profit association and a socio-political campaign at the same time. Lifestyle products have high visibility and recognition in our society. With solidarity in and on the bottle, this advantage is used for public welfare goals. Sales raise money for socially relevant projects, while the bottle as a medium in the public space, but also in social media, becomes a carrier of messages against discrimination and racism.

Streck Bräu is a hand-brewed natural product, produced in a family business with love and full commitment. With its Zwickl, dark beer, wheat and full beer on tap it ensures the diversity in our beer range. The German Purity Law for beer also imposes the obligation to treat the environment with care and sustainability, and Streck Bräu has been committed to this for 300 years. This is documented by the brewery as bearer of the seal "Quality of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve" and as a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact, as well as a certified organic company.

The latest addition to our range of beverages and also originating from Streck Bräu is our organic lager "Bier für Bellmer". Inspired by the exemplary work of Quartiermeister*in and Solidrinks, we also wanted to actively contribute to a better world. Thus, in 2020, our house brand was created, which not only quenches our thirst for beer, but also supports projects for people in need with 8ct per bottle sold. Currently, the proceeds go to Projekt009, which we present below.

Project009 originated in 2018, when a group of young activists founded the "Raving Lebanon" soliparty series to support Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Growing from their tasks and challenges, the group now organizes aid directly on the ground for people in war and crisis zones. Their work is focused on developing holistic approaches to solving some of the biggest challenges facing our society. To this day, we remain closely associated with Project 009 and support their work wherever we can.

Bergpartei, also the Superparty, has more questions than answers, but should we therefore leave governing to the parties that know best how to play the corrupt game? It is an eco-anarchist-realdadaist rallying point, utopian solidarity wing, radical feminist arm, section of the post-identitarian anti-nationals, anti-substanceist action, and has long been a user of our spaces as campaign headquarters and hangout.

The “Verein zur Überwindung der Schwerkraft e.V. (Association for the Overcoming of Gravity e.V.. (VUESCH) is a non-profit association in which people of different ages, abilities and conditions learn and regularly train various circus techniques. In recent years, an experimental field for contemporary art forms has been established: an interface between circus and other performing arts such as puppetry, music or modern dance. We are not only closely connected with the VUESCH on a neighborly level; the show formats "Gack & Talk" and the "Flamingo Cabaret", for example, were also created in cooperation.

"Bars of Berlin" is an association since October 2020, which aims to preserve the diversity of the local bar scene, and thus an important part of the cityscape and urban lifestyle. Bars are far more than just places to have a drink at. For many people, our establishments are a second living room and important spaces for social networking. Originally, "Bars of Berlin" formed as a loose alliance in the spring of 2020, when the first lockdown brought social and economic life to a standstill. This drastic experience made one thing clear: Bars stand alone in crisis situations, are neither networked nor do they have a common powerful voice. And that's exactly what "Bars of Berlin" wants to change.
